Reds rock stripes

The kit sported by Jurgen Klopp’s struggling Reds at Anfield
this season of course maintained a classic look.

Nike’s design featured a plain base of deep red, accompanied by
the club’s iconic badge, Standard Chartered sponsor, and hints of white and
blue along the neckline and sleeve cuffs.

If the early evidence is anything to go by, though, then Nike
appear ready to shake things up for the 2021/22 campaign.

This comes with the latest set of leaked images of Liverpool’s
upcoming home jersey featuring one striking new detail – brightly coloured
diagonal stripes.

The lightly-shaded red stripes – which also feature a subtle
zigzag pattern – spread across the entire face of the kit.

Elsewhere, the aforementioned collar and sleeves from this
season have been ditched, in favour of further bright red, albeit with the back
of the neck offset by a dark green colour.
