fanfare, Huawei officially announced the Huawei Y6P, Y5P,
two  alongside the MatePad T8 tablet in Romania. Huawei Y6P
features a 6.3-inch display and three rear cameras. The duo comes with a
moniker Huawei Y6P and Huawei Y5P. Both phones are not looking bad at all. In

Design and Display

In terms of body
design, the Huawei Y6P packs a nice body similar to the . The entire body
is built with a plastic and also the frame. Meanwhile, the front is made of
glass with some small amount of bezel on the top and bottom of the screen.

It measures 159.1
x 74.1 x 9 mm in dimensions and weight 185 g. Going back to the panel, you will
be greeted with a triple camera alongside an LED flash and also a fingerprint
reader.

The phone is
built around a 6.3-inch IPS panel with an HD+ resolution while the waterdrop
notch is for its selfies camera. The screen features 720 x 1600 pixels, a tall
20:9 ratio, and 278 PPI density for a clear viewing experience. It reaches up
to 81.3% screen-to-body ratio with display protection as well.

On the camera,
the Huawei Y6P packs a 13MP main camera alongside a 5MP ultrawide camera sensor
and a 2MP depth camera.  

The main camera
is paired with an LED flash for dark background photos and it also features
HDR, panorama and can shoot 2K video quality. It has a front camera of 8 MP for
your selfies needs and video calling.

Hardware and Software

The Huawei Y6P
brings in a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset based on 12nm process technology. It has
an octa-core processor with a frequency of 2.0 GHz and PowerVR GE8320 for
graphics.

The maker
equipped the device with a 3GB RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable via
micro SD card up to 256GB.

Battery and Network

One of the major
highlights of the Y6P is the massive 5000 mAh battery that comes with a
micro-USB port. Further, the phone runs on the latest EMUI 10.1 based on
Android 10 but without Google Play Services.

Instead, you will
get Huawei’s own Harmony Mobile Services (GMS) which brings in-app gallery for
your downloads. The Huawei Y6P has dual SIMs with 4G LTE Network, WiFi for a
wireless connection, FM radio with built-in antenna, and A-GPS for location
tracking. The Y6P will be available in Black, Green, and Purple colors.
